Reception – working hours
- Working hours from 07.00 – 23.00
- Arrival before 15.00 or after 21.00 is possible in case of a prior notice.
- Departure after 11.00 is charged as an additional day.
- Your reserved room/bed is waiting for you until 21.00. If you show up after 21.00 without notifying us of a late arrival, we consider it ad if you will not be using the room/bed, and we are free to rent it to another guest. In case of a late arrival without notice, we try to offer you accommodation withing the limits of available capacities.
- Guest misbehaving on arrival, who may be loud or under the influence of alcohol and other substances, may be refused entry and stay by the staff without explanation. Payments made in advance will not be refunded.
- On arrival you will receive a key with a chip for unlocking the front doors and the ddors to your room. In case you lose the key, we charge you additional €10,00.
- Silence from 22.00 – 07.00
- Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property.
- PARKING: Due to the compact settlement, parking near Bajta Kroparica is very limited (2 parking spaces). It is not possible to reserve a parking space. We recommend using the parking lot next to the ‘bajer’, the parking lot next to the church of St. Lenart and parking lots in Žaga, in the upper part of Kropa, which is closest to Bajta Kroparica. The parking lots are not guarded, so parking is on your own agreement and risk.
Respect other guests and the facility in which you are staying
Let’s respect other guests and treat them the way we would like others to treat us. Behave in the building and its surroundings as if you were in your own home – do not cause damage. Respect the peace and quiet inside and outside the facility. Respect the staff and follow their instructions.
- If the guest wishes to extend the stay, he must inform the reception at least 24 hours before the agreed departure, the services must be settled before the extension of the service.
- If a guest occupies a room and then leaves it without spending the night, they will be charged for the entire night.
- If the guest reserves a room for a longer period and leaves it before the end of the period, he will be charged the full value of the nights for the reserved period, except when he leaves it before the end of the period due to force majeure or illness.
Payment and cancellation terms
- You pay the tourist tax upon arrival
- Upon arrival, pay a security deposit of €30.00. The deposit is returned upon departure, after checking the room.
- 50% advance payment on reservation
- You can cancel the reservation without cancellation fees: 5 days before arrival

HOSTELS RULES
Personal safety and hygiene
- Each guest gets a ready bed with bed linen and a towel. Free change for fresh linen is possible after 5 nights of stay. Indoor equipment (pillows, blankets, etc.) may not be used outside. The exception is towels that can be used in the sauna and hot tub. It is forbidden to take the inventory out of the rooms and common areas.
- Please do not damage or remove items intended for accommodation or the stay of guests in the facility. Do not change the layout of the rooms.
- Please report any errors, damages or dissatisfaction with the goods or service immediately so that we can remedy them as soon as possible.
- Sleeping in sleeping bags is prohibited, as clean bed linen is provided for a comfortable sleep, which is changed free of charge for longer stays (over 5 nights).
- Guests of Bajte Kroparica clean the rooms themselves during their stay (vacuum or sweep, wipe the floor with a damp cloth). Upon arrival, we will provide you with instructions for use and maintenance, which you must follow. The staff cleans the rooms once a week.
- When a group or individual leaves, Kroparica staff, together with the person in charge of the group or with an individual guest, inspects the used room. If the rooms are heavily soiled, an additional cleaning fee of EUR 20.00 per bed may be charged.
- Things left by guests in the rooms are kept for 30 days and then discarded or given to local charities/humanitarian/environmental organizations for use.
- The kitchen and dining room in the common area are intended for all Kroparica guests. Wash dishes and clean work surfaces, tables and benches after each use. Always put away everything you used to prepare your meal.
- Label the food that you store in the refrigerator with your name and the date of departure. We will throw away all unmarked and expired food. If the kitchen is not cleaned, the deposit will be withheld.
- A machine for coffee, drinks and snacks is available to guests. You can ask Kroparica staff how to use them. You need € coins to use the machines.
- Storing food and drinks in the rooms is not allowed.
- The overnight stay of guests who are not registered in the hostel and who have not paid for their stay is prohibited in Bajta Kroparica.
Zero Waste
- When you leave the premises, make sure that the windows are closed, the electrical appliances are switched off and the water is turned off. In the case of gross violations, we withhold the deposit and additionally charge excessive water and electricity consumption.
- It is mandatory to separate waste (plastics/cans, packaging, paper, glass, organic waste, textiles, mixed)
Safety
- For safety reasons, leaning over windows or fences is prohibited. Windows may only be used to ventilate the premises. Windowsills may not be used for sitting, and shouting and throwing objects and waste through the window is also prohibited.
- We are not responsible for injuries to guests (due to negligence or non-compliance with house rules).
- Keep valuables with you or in a locked cupboard in your room. We are not responsible for theft, loss or damage to personal items in the hostel. Guests of Kroparica can deposit valuables free of charge in the safe at the reception. The hostel is not responsible for the loss or damage of things that have not been deposited.
- Storage and consumption of alcohol in the rooms is not allowed. Importing, possessing and using drugs or possessing and using weapons is strictly prohibited in Bajta Kroparica. In case of non-compliance with the rules, the hostel staff can confiscate such goods and inform the police.
- Smoking in the facility is prohibited. The fine for smoking indoors is EUR 200.00.
- You can enjoy alcohol on the ground floor and in the garden, smoking is only allowed in the garden.
- The use of heating and cooking appliances in the rooms is not allowed due to fire safety. In the event of a fire alarm being deliberately set off for no reason or set off due to cooking and smoking in premises where this is prohibited, the perpetrator shall cover the costs of firefighting intervention and the costs of the resulting damage.
- The fire order and the evacuation plan are posted in a visible place. Check where the fire extinguishers are and follow the instructions of the staff and the fire regulations.
- House rules are controlled by: Owner, hostel manager, hostel staff and security.
- All mentioned persons have the right to act upon detection of violations, anywhere and at any time, without the special consent of the guest.
- The guest is responsible for damage caused by his fault or by the fault of those for whom he is responsible and those who visit him. For intentional damage or removal of items, we will forfeit your deposit and additionally charge you for the costs associated with your action.
- In case of non-observance of house rules, the following measures will be taken against the violator:
- temporary or permanent ban on entering Bajta Kroparica,
- removal from the building and garden,
- confiscation of your deposit,
- a request for compensation for the damage caused and loss of income due to the damage done,
- call the police.
