The fairytale-like countryside surrounding the Ribno Hotel delights nature lovers, the active and the sporty and offers them numerous possibilities for a relaxing active holiday just a stone’s throw from the hotel.
Adjacent to the hotel is a beach volleyball court, a hoop for playing basketball and five tennis courts, while mountain bikes may be rented at the hotel. Information on cycling and hiking tours as well as fishing and fly fishing permits are available from reception, where you may also book other activities, such as rafting, canyoning, mountaineering, climbing, riding and golf.

The winter months, when nature blankets itself in white, are the time for skiing and snowboarding on nearby ski slopes, for cross-country skiing, sledging, snow shoeing and other seasonal joys. Julian Alps ski passes which include skiing in as many as seven resorts (Straža, Krvavec, Kobla, Vogel, Viševnik, Soriška planina and Kranjska Gora) and transfer from Bled to selected resorts by ski bus may be purchased in the hotel. Well-maintained cross-country tracks lead across the snow-covered countryside from Ribno to Bled.
